The Monodies Academy provides an extended period of mentorship with Mr. Mehdi Hosseini. It has been truly rewarding to spend substantial time in one-to-one sessions discussing a wide range of compositional aspects, including extended techniques, form, and harmony. This intensive process has allowed me to devote significant thought to the creative journey, enabling me to reflect upon and refine the details that ultimately shaped the work you are now hearing — Journey to the West 《走西口》.
